Enter the Realm of Imagination

Discover the Power of True Fantasy

Fantasy, rooted in the Greek word phantazein, means “to make visible” or “to present to the mind,” and at its heart it is not about illusion or escape, but about revealing reality more clearly than we could see it on our own. Fantasy is storytelling in its purest form because it gives shape to truth, making what is unseen or eternal perceptible to the imagination, which is why it shares a root with phenomenon, a word that points to what is revealed and made known. True Fantasy, then, does not invent meaning but unveils it, and it is one of the primary ways God makes Himself visible to a fallen, pagan people, using story to reshape the imagination and transform the mind so the world can be seen as He sees it. In this sense, the Bible stands as the ultimate expression of True Fantasy, because it does not merely tell a supernatural story but reveals the deepest truth beneath all stories, beginning with the words, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1), a revelation that does not distract from reality but reorients it entirely.

Why True Fantasy?

Many people struggle to understand the supernatural stories of the Bible. Why does God flood the earth? Why does He ask Abraham to sacrifice Isaac? Why does the Old Testament God seem wrathful? True Fantasy answers these questions by showing that Scripture is not a collection of strange tales, but God’s way of making Himself and His world visible to fallen, pagan minds. Rooted in the Greek phantazein, meaning “to make visible,” True Fantasy unveils reality as God sees it, using story to reveal eternal truths, reshape the imagination, and invite readers to see the world as ordered, purposeful, and redemptive, beginning with “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).
